Meet THE COACHES

I have been in coaching for several years having taken the unusual route of starting in Men's Football as an assistant for two clubs spanning over three seasons. Even though I was still playing whilst taking on these two roles it became clear to me very quickly that I loved the coaching side of football nearly as much as playing it. I then had a son and have ended up coaching his team, this brings its own challenges and is certainly different to coaching adults. 

HOWEVER, I'd have to say that I love coaching kids football even more than I thought I would. There is no better feeling as a coach than seeing a child celebrate an achievement whether its scoring a goal, making a save, sliding in for a tackle. That genuine look of joy is something that we all begin to take for granted as we grow older and wiser but for those 5/30 seconds those kids feel as if their the best in the world. 

I currently hold My FA level 1 coaching qualification and am on the waiting list to take my UEFA C Licence. 

I firmly believe that football is something that should be available to everybody that wishes to play, and whether you want to play competitively or just have a kick about with friends, those opportunities should co exist.
